Distance Education Courses at Keuka College

Keuka college is offering distance education courses designed to help adult students needing to take required general education courses before they can move forward with their majors.
In designing these 6 new courses, the college followed the same format that it uses in its Accelerated Studies for Adults Program (ASAP). The courses will be available during the summer term, and include the following: College English II, History of Western Art, Intro to Philosophy, Intro to Sociology, Wellness, and Integrative Studies. Some adult students enrolling in one of Keuka's ASAP degree programs need one to three "bridge courses" first to complete enough general education requirements to attain the equivalent of an associates degree. The College's distance-learning technology tool is known as Moodle, and it is able to convert each instructor syllabus, grade book and assignment into interactive Moodle pages.
