Online Credential for Online Teaching launched by Arizona State
Online degree and certification programs for PK-12 teachers have seen an expansion at Arizona State University with added credential for online teaching.
Six new online programs in education area will be available starting fall 2010 semester. Arizona kindergartern teachers will also get a chance to fulfill early childhood education certification requirement online for meeting the state department of education July 2012 deadline. Their new online graduate certificate from Arizona State is a 15 credit hour graduate certificate for online teaching for grades K-12 which is aimed at educators who would like to go ahead with implementation, developmenr and evaluation of online education programs at their schools.
The course will be covering instructional design and course development, theory and practice in online learning, web based instructions and application of online teaching in field based experiences.
The tution fee will be $355 per credit hour excluding fees.
